Sarah Dawn Finer take a couple of minutes during Melodifestivalen 2012 to answer to ParisGayZine. The swedish singer was hosting these shows with her colleagues Gina Dirawi and Helena Bergrstöm. It was very pleasant for us to meet such a smiling person.

You did a very good job this year as a host of Melodifestivalen. So, do you want to continue to host shows in Sweden ?
I’m not gonna say no. I’d love to do more television but my focus right after this is to record a Swedish album. I have never done a Swedish album. So, I will do my first one later this year. And, I don’t know what is bigger that this show in Sweden so… I hope that maybe we’ll win Eurovision and maybe I can host the Eurovision together with these girls... I have to say, if it’s the last thing I do on television, it’s fine.

Well, no. I think it has been just an amazing experience. I’m so thankful for this experience. I learnt so much and had the time of my life. So if this is the last thing I do on television, then that’s fine.

Yeah, I don’t have the courage really to compete again. It’s very scary.
Because it’s too difficult to make bigger than last time you did with “Moving on” ?
It’s hard I think for me to do something here. In that case I would have to come back and do something completely different. And as of now, and the past years, I don’t really know what I would be and until I have a sort of vision of something I really wanna do in the singing, I don’t have the courage too. Because I’m really proud what I’ve done here and I’d like to be remembered fondly. I supposed to come and do it with something completely new.
Is it possible for you to compete again here ?
No, if it is now. Who knows ? Maybe in few years, who knows ?
We like very much your song “Does she know you”. It’s very different but we enjoy it, we love the style of this song. We love “Moving on” a lot and this song is very different.

Can you remember for us your best memories of schlager music in Melodifestivalen ? For others artists…
Personally the song that I love the most is probably “Keep on walking” with Salem Al Fakir from a few years ago. Very good song ! I love the lyrics of that song and the message of that song. And then really really really really old song will be maybe "Stad i ljus" (with Tommy Körberg in Melodifestivalen 1988) which is the first time I heard this fantastic male voice in this arena and I fell in love with this voice.
